Harvested in the year of the snake and patiently matured for over the last 12 years, this tea offers a remarkable journey through taste and time. The initial dryness quickly gives way to a deep, resonant sweetness, mingling with the authentic aroma of old arbor trees. Subtle notes of steamed sticky rice and bamboo leaves (zong ye) are complemented by a developing vegetal quality through subsequent infusions. Persistently sweet with a hint of smoky rock sugar in the finish, this tea promises a complex and rewarding session for any tea aficionado.
